Best Buy Black Friday 2016 Blowout features MacBook Airs, Wi-Fi routers & a ton of tablets

Best Buy’s Black Friday 2016 ad has been revealed, and it’s chock full of electronics deals, including Apple tablets, LG and Samsung TVs, Dell PCs and more. Best Buy, which already has been streaming out deals of the day, will open its doors open at 5pm on Thursday, Nov. 24, Thanksgiving Day, but online shopping is expected to commence much earlier that day in advance of Black Friday itself on Nov. 25.

Black Friday watchers such as BFads and Best Black Friday have been tracking new ads closely and we’ve been watching them closely.

As we’ve noted previously, retailers are marking down tablets heavily, perhaps not surprisingly in light of a shrinking market. Best Buy is cutting $30 off the price of the Amazon Fire 8-inch tablet with 16GB of storage to $60, and is shaving about $17 off the price of a 7-inch Amazon Fire tablet with 8GB of storage for a final price of $33.33 (will be interesting to see how Amazon marks these tablets down itself). If you’re looking for a higher-end model, Apple iPad Pro tablets will all be marked down $125. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 12.3-inch model — a tablet/laptop hybrid with 128GB of storage will sell for $600 ($400 off!).

If you’re looking for a full-blown laptop, Best Buy has you covered there on Black Friday 2016 too. It’s offering the Dell Inspiron 15.6-inch Touch Laptop with an Intel Core i5 processor and 1TB hard drive for $350 ($150 off). You can also save $200 on an Apple MacBook Air 13.3″ model, for a final price of $800. If you’re looking for a real inexpensive system, a Lenovo Windows 10 laptop with an 11.6″ screen and 32GB of storage will have its price cut in half to $100.

Best Buy will try to whet your appetite for virtual reality by including a Samsung Gear VR with any Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone purchased via an installment billing arrangement — plus you get a $250 store gift card.

On the TV front, among the deals are an LG 40-inch LED set with 1080p resolution for $150 ($130 off) and Samsung 50-inch LED HDTV for $300 ($250 off). If you’re in the market for a 4K TV, Best Buy has some of the best deals to date on big sets, says BFads’ Brent Shelton.

Best Buy will offer deals on a selection of Wi-Fi gear, including a Linksys AC2600 dual-band router ($150, down from $250), a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 dual-band router with DST adapter for $180 ($70 off) and an eero 802.11ac dual band Wi-Fi access point system (3-pack) for $400 ($100 off). Best Buy will knock $20 to $30 off Wi-Fi range extenders, too.

For gamers, you can save $50 on Xbox One and PS4 console/game bundles (final price: $250), which is pretty similar to what other big retailers are offering this holiday shopping season.
